- Groups: Participants & Counselor 
Intake / Initial Assessment (1st Session)
- Discuss Reasons for Seeking Counseling Services 
- Review SHCW Services 
- Agree Upon Attendance & Billing Policy and Procedures 
- Sign Documentation including: Informed Consent, HIPPA & other forms 
- Start Initial Assessment: where therapist gathers background information to ensure counselor and client are a good fit for one another 
- Begin Building Rapport 
Finish the Intake Process (2nd Session)
- Finish Initial Assessment (if more time is needed) 
- Complete Treatment Plan: Establishing Goals & Expectations 
- Continue Building Rapport 
Counseling Process (3rd Session & Beyond)
- Continue Therapeutic Relationship 
- Implementing Counseling Modalities & Interventions 
- Reviewing Treatment Goals & Progress
